Job DescriptionYour role:This pivotal role involves developing and implementing a robust recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent from colleges and universities, building our junior talent pipeline across Invesco's businesses. This position is crucial in shaping Invesco's future workforce and ensuring we attract the best talent to drive our business forward. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for all stages of the recruiting process for early career positions, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the campus recruiting landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to align our business objectives with innovative recruiting strategies. Additionally, we are looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic team member.
You will be responsible for:Campus Recruitment Strategy:
- Align with Business Growth: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's overall growth strategy and the skill requirements of our businesses, ensuring these insights are integrated into our recruiting strategy.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic campus recruitment plan to attract top-tier talent, aligning with the firm's long-term and immediate talent needs.
- Diversity Recruiting: Implement targeted diversity recruitment initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive talent pool in support of our firm's efforts to build this critical talent pool
Recruitment Process Management:
- End-to-End Process Design: Develop and implement a streamlined and efficient campus recruitment process, including job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing offers.
- Collaboration with Program Managers: Partner with Early Careers program managers to align recruitment efforts with business needs, headcount requirements, skill sets, and location preferences
- Partner with Talent Acquisition: Collaborate closely with our Talent Acquisition team. Leverage their expertise and understanding of our recruitment systems/process
- Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement strategies to attract diverse talent, including partnerships with universities, career fairs, and online platforms.
Candidate Engagement:
- Campus Engagement: At our target schools develop and execute dynamic campus events, workshops, and presentations to position Invesco as the employer of choice among college students.
- Proactive Sourcing: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through early identification, proactive sourcing, and relationship-building efforts.
- Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and engaging interaction with potential hires.
Brand Building:
- Social media and Digital Marketing: Leverage social media platforms and digital marketing strategies to amplify Invesco's visibility and broaden its appeal, attracting top candidates.
- Partnership Development and Diversity Initiatives: Establish strong relationships with partnership and sponsorship programs, ensuring these connections are leveraged to attract top talent while championing Invesco's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Technology and Data Reporting:
- Dashboard Creation: Partnering with our data analytics team, develop a user-friendly data dashboard to track and manage candidate information, recruitment metrics, and reporting, ensuring easy access and real-time updates.
- Data Analysis: Analyze recruitment data to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment strategies, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Technology Utilization: Optimize the use of Workday, HireVue, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
The experience you bring: - 8+ years of recruiting experience with a solid understanding of the campus recruiting landscape, including university career services, student organizations, and academic programs.
- Undergraduate degree required
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with university partners, faculty, student organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to align recruitment strategies with business objectives and develop innovative approaches to attract top talent.
- Experience implementing diversity recruitment initiatives and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive talent pool.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying Invesco's value proposition to candidates and university partners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in using recruitment tools and platforms such as Workday, HireVue, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to analyze recruitment data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- A collaborative and enthusiastic team player who works effectively with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, HR business partners, and hiring managers.
- Comfortable with LinkedIn, other social media channels, and networking activities.
