What We're Looking For:
Iridium is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist I to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will recruit for the Iridium Summer Internship, Orbit Rotational programs, as well as facilitate the onboarding of all new hires.This role will also serve as the primary point of contact and provide critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and business stakeholders by sourcing open positions, advising on various steps in the recruiting process, and successfully and expeditiously finding qualified candidates. What You'll Do:
- Attend career fairs, host career days, and build relationships with colleges, universities, and student organizations
- Respond to requests from managers throughout the recruiting process around process expectations and updates, and ensure candidate feedback is collected
- Frequently monitor and update job postings and candidate dispositions in the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to ensure compliance with various employment laws, AAP regulations, and organizational policies
- Assist with all aspects of facilitating and coordinating of the annual Intern and Orbit programs
- Prepare, distribute, process and track paperwork for new hires, such as background check requests, tax forms, and other human resources-related forms, and ensure employee profiles are set up and maintained in HR systems and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition to Iridium
- Partner with other stakeholders in the onboarding process, such as accounting, IT, security, and hiring managers
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree - Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate key messages and ideas clearly and effectively
- Can cultivate meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your team, while being open and responsive to constructive feedback as they guide and mentor you
- The ability to think outside the box to help solve problems, with the humility to ask for help when needed
- Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the readiness to take on any new tasks that are handed to you
- A motivation to achieve outcomes and results
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at once and completing them on time with mostly no errors
- An eagerness to develop professionally, continuously learn, and share knowledge with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments

Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
- Experience with ADP, iCIMS, emPerform a plus
We'll also need you to:
- Travel 4-6 times a year for team and college campus recruiting events
Work Environment:
This position is hybrid and in the office three (3) days each week. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer with occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer. For meetings in-person, this position will require the ability to stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
