ED Credit Officer, Team Lead- Securitization + ABL - Taurus Search : Job Details

My client is a large international bank and is looking to hire an ABL/Securitization Credit Officer Team Lead (Executive Director-level) to join their New York office.

This position sits on the 2nd LoD and includes providing credit recommendations on new transactions and managing a portfolio of asset backed lending transactions and securitization. The Credit Analyst holds the authority to make credit decisions for both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Review, recommend and approve individual credit limits within assigned authority for large and complex loans involving the Company's and Group's customer base, ensuring adherence to all applicable credit approval policy and procedures.
• Responsible for credit exposure to a portfolio of primarily ABL/securitized borrowers
• Work with the business line to identify and mitigate structural and other risks in prospective transactions.
• Ensure ongoing credit quality through portfolio management tasks including timely risk ratings and remediation actions, where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of credit experience. Asset based lending / securitization experience is preferred.
