Job Description :

We are looking for a results driven Customer Service Specialist who wants to take our Customer Service Call Center to the next level of customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for retail order entry processing, modification, verification and release using EDI, ERP, and SAP.
  • Handles product and account set-up on customer accounts.
  • Monitors customer orders, backorders, and shipping windows.
  • Updates GXS catalog and InterTrade
  • Follows up on purchase order extensions, status, current and future product availability, as well as expediting shipping.
  • Responds to sales representative/ account managers requests for order/product status, assistance, and related information.
  • Interaction with the Distribution Center regarding product shipment priorities.
  • Resolves customer issues.
  • Responsible for order and product availability reports.
  • Tracks and assigns return authorizations.
  • Assists with mass account maintenance updates.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Liaison with Customer service and troubleshoots any systemic issues

Work Experience and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office / Excel
  • SAP and ERP experience preferred.
  • EDI experience required.

Skills/ Competencies

  • Solid Excel skills are mandatory
  • Technology savvy, intuitive handling of software, portals and applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer facing communications skills (oral & written)
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, under pressure and handle high volumes of calls and emails
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
