Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education/Resource Specialist to join our Labor&Delivery team at Memorial Hermann TMC. This role is vital for supporting our nursing staff and enhancing the quality of care for our patients.Key Responsibilities:• Support the antepartum, Labor&Delivery, and OR units by onboarding new graduate nurses and providing ongoing education.• Develop and implement educational plans tailored to staff needs.• Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote best practices and continuous improvement in patient care.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Labor&Delivery, with some leadership experience (e.g., preceptor, charge nurse).• Certifications:o Required: Fetal Monitoring Certification, RNC-OB (must be obtained if not currently held)o Preferred: Inpatient certificationWhat Sets Us Apart: Memorial Hermann TMC is a Level IV center specializing in high-risk patients and complex maternal and neonatal care.
