Education Specialist - Stony Brook University : Job Details

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience as a Childbirth educator. Five years of full-time experience as birth doula, supporting birthing families through all stages of pregnancy, prenatally though postpartum (in person and virtual). Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs and Zoom. Certifications: Doula certification and Childbirth Education Teacher. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual English/ Spanish. Certification: CPR/ BLS. Brief Description of Duties: 1. Childbirth Educator The Childbirth Educator is responsible for preparing expectant parents for labor, birth, and early parenting through comprehensive, evidence-based education.
