Position Type: Maintenance/CustodialDate Posted: 9/23/2024Location: Alexandria Township SchoolsDate Available: 09/23/2024Closing Date: 10/25/2024Educational Facilities Manager RESPONSIBILITIES: The Educational Facilities Manager is responsible for all aspects of plant operations and maintenance for an eight school PreK-8 district In addition, the Educational Facilities Manager is responsible for managing all district repairs and renovation projects, long range facility planning, facilities budgets, supervising custodial staff, snow removal, lawn care, compliance with applicable facility regulations and school safety and security as it pertains to facilities QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must at least be a high school graduate; Must possess a State Certification of Educational Facility Manager or begin the process of attaining the CEFM cert upon hire, Black Seal License and a valid NJ driver's license; Must have the physical condition to withstand the rigors of the job requirements; Strong interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver who is willing to continue to learn in a collaborative school environment REPORTS TO: School Business Administrator TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education 12 month position Only on-line applications will be accepted through AppliTrack at www.alexandriaschools.org AA/EOE
