Director of Sales & MarketingCRG is partnered with a family-owned, employee-focused distribution client within the building materials industry that is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to join their team. This individual will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of inspiring and leading a high-performing sales team.Opportunity: Direct-HireCompensation: $140k-$150k + bonusLocation: On-site in Charlotte, NCBenefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve short-term and long-term revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of robust marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Manage marketing staff and budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and measure campaign success.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Implement effective sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product development, customer service, branch operations and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.
  • Experience in building material industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
