Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Maintain the scope, schedule, and quality of the project in their specific application area or team.
- Develop and maintain project plans according to State and client IT project management methodology.
- Set clear expectations for team members.
- Work closely with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and other project managers to coordinate activities.
- dvise and coach team members by providing guidance on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons learned.
- Organize resources within the organization.
- Identify and manage issues and risks, assuring appropriate resolution/escalation and mitigation strategies are documented and assigned and status tracked.
- ssist as a support contact for EHR analytics.
- Oversee and coordinate the triage of analytics needs and the corresponding build.
- Set overall build, security, and data segregation strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide Reporting Workbench and Radar security policies.
- Manage Report Workbench templates and create or authorize the creation of any new templates.
- Track Report Workbench template build.
- Coordinate technical implementation of overall data segregation strategy.
- Work with analyst sponsors and EHR Program Manager to stand up and facilitate candidate data governance group.
- Establish and enforce processes, including request, triage, prioritization, testing, publishing, and validating data requests.
- Facilitate application and Cogito team communication to close gaps.
- Coordinate with the training team to ensure end-user comfort and happiness with data and tools.
- Establish a process for use of the Analytics Catalog and request tracker.
- Drive the analytics implementation to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
- Measure ongoing success of analytics after go-live and making necessary adjustments.
- Monitor team productivity and performance.
- Review upgrade documentation related to analytics tools and content and determining how to implement, disseminate, and train the changes.
- Deciding which reporting tools to use as new data needs arise, including but not limited to: Clarity and Caboodle reports; Extract Framework: Metrics; Benchmarking; Radar; Analytics Catalog Registry Framework and data marts; Reporting Workbench; SlicerDicer.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Serve as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic implementation staff.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
- Work with Epic representatives, organization, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs.
- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows.
- Participate in training and work with end users.
- Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
- Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
