Opportunity to join an expanding chemical leader as the Site EHS Manager, with strategic responsibility to increase awareness, employee involvement, leadership, and accountability for Environmental and Safety regulatory compliance programs. Guided by local, state, and federal regulatory requirements for PSM, OSHA, and ISO industry standards. Offers excellent salary, bonus and relocation options. Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree Environmental, Safety, or Chemistry with 7+ years experience in EHS Leadership in chemical, refinery, P&P or related PSM Plants.-Extensive background in regulatory requirements involving air emissions, hazardous waste disposal, and water discharge and OSHA. -Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.-Ability to work without sponsorship now or in the future.Responsibilities:-Develop and improve sitewide EHS work practices and procedures.-Develop departmental goals and objectives for EHS Team.-Ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including reporting and permitting.-Facilitate employee EHS committees & ensure employee participation and engagement.-Lead or coordinate audits, inspections, training, and verification of compliance to company and regulatory standards. Develop and improve of EHS&Q auditing programs.-Establish relationships with local Emergency Response Agencies and outside services.-Manage the contractor safety program.-Facilitate all aspects of incident reporting - ensure employee safety concerns are captured in a timely and adequate manner and actions are identified by incident investigations.-Set expectations for, enforce, and facilitate incident and near-miss incident reporting.-Manage injury cases and/or safe employee return-to-work.-Serve as company representative for EH&S outside agency inspections or audits and for internal legal counsel.-Organize and lead plantwide safety and communications meetings.-Maintain and improve respiratory and audiological IH programs.-Lead investigation teams for significant incidents. Determine root cause and corrective actions.
