Elections Administrator - County of Dallas Iowa : Job Details

This position is responsible for the administration of elections in Dallas County. This position has direct supervision over Senior Elections Clerk, Accounting and Elections Clerk, poll workers, and other temporary personnel. Job Duties Coordinates election preparations, laying out and ordering ballots, preparing test decks, programming and testing election equipment, and creating elections in state-wide voting software system. Oversees the absentee voting process; mails ballots; oversees satellite and in-office voting. Supervises security measures to ensure the security of voting equipment and electronic poll book laptops; ensures compliance with state mandates for cyber security. Works with the Secretary of States Office to ensures compliance with Iowa Code.
