We are looking for a Great Plaines Regional Sales Account Manager. This position will be remote and located anywhere in the Great Plaines / Midwest Region of the US.
You'll make an impact by:
* Developing and Executing Key Account and/or Key Territory Account Plans
* Achieving all business objectives (Sales quota, KPI's, etc.) at assigned accounts and/or in assigned territory.
* Having and using a broad array of Sales skills; Cold Calling / Warm Calling, Following up, Questioning and Listening, Building Constructive Tension, Closing the Deal, etc.
* Leveraging selling techniques and doctrines to leverage today's new reality by way of Teaching, Tailoring, and Taking Control
* Utilizing Siemens' enterprise CRM tool to manage all Sales and Customer related activities
* Providing transparency in reporting and forecasting across multiple levels of Siemens management
* Creating and executing a set of plans and actions that are thoughtful, strategic, and intentional
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years in complex, technical sales or business development
* Understand the concept of Digitalization or Digital Transformation and its impact on critical infrastructure
* Bachelor's degree is required
* Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
* Experience in setting up and running in-person and virtual customer-centric meetings
* Ability to navigate suite of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, etc.)
* Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, by car, plane, train, or other means
* Must be a self-starter that is disciplined and structured while also being agile and assertive
* Must have a work authorization, and be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
* Sales, Business Development or, Technical Customer Facing Role in or related to the field of Electric Power
* Knowledge of Electric Power applications and the overall operation of the US Electric Power Grid: IEC61850, digital substations, DER's, NERC CIP, substation automation, distribution automation, P&C, SCADA, etc.
* Experience with Data Networking, Cybersecurity, IT/OT Best Practices and how these drive Digital Transformation
* Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM tool), Tableau (or other financial reporting tool), and AI tools used for customer and overall sales impact
* Experience with managing simple product quotations as well as driving complex solution proposals
* Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus (i.e. data networks, cybersecurity, etc.)
* Experience working in both direct and indirect GTM models
* Familiarity with and Adoption of the Challenger Sales mentality

* The pay range for this position is $72,380 - $124,080 and the annual incentive is 37% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
