Electrical and Instrumentation Technician - RecruitMilitary Placement Services : Job Details

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician you will report to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor while working within multiple groups and disciplines to continually improve plant safety and reliability in the production of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI). You will assist in developing and implementing effective troubleshooting and repair practices and preventative and corrective maintenance programs for plant electrical and control equipment. You will gain experience on and be responsible for a broad range of state-of-the-art electrical equipment relating to Process Control including Distribution Control Systems (DCS)/PLC, plant instrumentation, control networks, Power Distribution from 120V load centers to 230kV utility, and Motor Controls including motor starter (up to 4160V) and VPD's (including specialized high power drives).These are shift positions that usually run 4 days on 4 days off 4 nights on 4 nights off, 12 hour shifts.Total compensation will be $75,000 to $85,000 including base plus production bonus.
