Job Description :

The Assistant Electrical Engineer will support substation design projects. Your main responsibilities can include creating electrical protection & control and/or physical layout design deliverables for a range of Substation projects. You will be an instrumental part of our talented Power team that allows for internal growth and endless upward mobility.     • Design to client and regulatory requirements per the direction of your Project Management team.
    • Support the development of P&C one line diagram, AC/DC schematics, control panel layout and wiring diagram, station service AC/DC distribution diagram, bill of material, cable schedule, etc.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation regarding protection and control design and construction.
    • Schedule and budget variances in a timely manner.
    • Creating and enforcing project quality plan.
    • Keep Milhouse Engineering management advised of all quality.
    • Vendor drawing review and disposition.
    • Maintaining project files.
    • Data and document entry into various platforms.
    • Assist management as directed.
What we are looking for:
    • Proven ability to consistently produce high quality of work.
    • Ability to consistently work independently.
    • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
    • Understanding of CAD software.
    • Ability to estimate, plan, and schedule substation projects.
    • Familiarity with applicable IEEE/EIC codes and standards.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or Micro Station and Revit.
Your background:
    • 1-3 years of protection & control / substation design engineering experience.
    • Electrical Engineering degree.

$81,000 - $90,000 a year The actual base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
