This position involves working in the electronic assembly processes. Responsibilities include collaborating with Production and teams in Japan to resolve quality issues in the process. Tasks may involve managing PPAPs, containment, issuing corrective actions, and providing follow-up solutions, as well as writing detailed reports on analysis, developing work instructions, and handling component issues. The role requires troubleshooting electronics to identify defects, necessitating knowledge of electrical/electronics. The Electrical Engineer will also focus on cost reductions for defects, using 8D/5 Why problem-solving techniques to identify root causes, establish counter-measures, and improve processes. If defective parts are returned, this person will break down components and use oscilloscopes to determine the cause of failure.

Skills

+ Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Completed

+ oscilloscope experience/knowledge

+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints

+ strong troubleshooting

+ excellent customer service skills (written and verbal communication)

+ 0-2 years of experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The role involves working with electronic control units.
