Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will create and release programming updates, support issue resolution, execute in-plant testing, and participate in various engineering activities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, high and low voltage troubleshooting, and the ability to operate under high pressure.
Responsibilities- Create and release programming updates and other engineering solutions as needed.
- Support issue resolution using J1939 network traffic analysis.
- Execute in-plant testing of electrical and programming solutions.
- Support supplier application approvals, vendor tests, configuration audits, and other online activities.
- Provide general status of online builds, identify and address potential roadblocks preventing deliveries.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills- Experience reading electrical schematics.
- High and low voltage troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate under high pressure or stress.
- Electrical engineering skills including PLC troubleshooting, electrical wiring, and PLC programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with repair and hand tools.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and automotive manufacturing.
- Experience with electrical design and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of PLC troubleshooting experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on electrical wiring or wire harness experience.
- Automotive experience (preferred).
