The Electrical Engineer supports production, facilities, and equipment by addressing process and equipment issues, troubleshooting, and driving improvements in systems and controls.
Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement- Identify and execute improvement opportunities using data analysis.
- Maintain PLC software and backups.
- Approve plant electrical standards.
Support Processes and Systems- Review and approve technical documentation, calibration procedures, and SOPs for electrical systems.
- Design and program PLC, HMI, and process vision systems.
- Support electrical requirements for new products and processes.
- Develop and execute qualifications and protocols.
Technical Support- Provide training and guidance to technicians.
- Act as a technical resource for operations teams.
- Lead root cause investigations and troubleshooting efforts.
Qualifications
Experience- 10+ years in manufacturing (preferably regulated environments) or a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing.
Skills- Expertise in power distribution, PLCs, instrumentation, and calibration.
- Ability to analyze data systematically for root cause determination.
