Alliance Consulting Engineers is a small firm located in Fort Collins, Colorado. We provide industrial electrical power system design services all over the United States.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Electrical Engineer at Alliance Consulting Engineers. The role is located in Fort Collins, CO. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design of industrial power systems. Our primary focus is medium and high Voltage systems, although we also design low Voltage (120 to 1000 Volts) design. Our clients are oil, gas, manufacturers and other large electrical power users.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical substations is REQUIRED.
• Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
• Experience in working with electricity and power systems
• Knowledge of power distribution
• Knowledge of protective relay wiring.
• Knowledge of protective relay programming
• Knowledge of physical layout of electrical substations and switchyards
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with ETAP
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
