Posting/External Job Title Electrical Engineer Location Huntsville, AL 35802 US (Primary) Remote/Onsite/Hybrid 100% Onsite Job Type Full-time # of Hires Needed 10 Education Bachelor's Degree Travel Security Clearance Required Secret Pay Range (All offers will be based on experience) $80,000.00 - $185,000.00/yr Position Introduction/Key Duties Cimarron is seeking Electrical Engineers to join our team supporting the PAC-3 Missile Defense Program in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on the design, testing, and integration of complex systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role requires an active Secret clearance.   • Design, analyze, and develop analog and digital circuits, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Develop and maintain hardware and software components/systems for seamless integration.
  • Create and execute test system requirements, test plans, procedures, and verification methodologies.
  • Design and validate circuit board systems for both engineering and operational applications.
  • Perform testing and analysis to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Conduct Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and implement resolutions.
  • Develop Special Test Equipment (STE) and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  • Apply IEEE 315/315A, IEEE Std 91/91A, TIA-587, AIA/NAS 411, ANSI/ISO/IEC/IPC, and AS9100 standards to designs.
  • Incorporate safety and human factors into designs and processes.
  • Establish and operate testing infrastructure for hardware validation, including deriving test and validation requirements for components and circuit boards.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in electrical engineering roles, including hands-on work with hardware and software integration
  • Expertise in one or more areas such as analog/digital circuits, RF theory, LabView, control systems, Design for Manufacturing, Special Test Equipment (STE) design, and/or electromechanical assembly.
  • Proficient in circuit board design, developing and operating testing infrastructure, and deriving test and validation requirements for Component/Circuit Board hardware.
  • Ability to apply industry standards such as IEEE 315/315A, IEEE Std 91/91A, TIA-587, AIA/NAS 411, ANSI/ISO/IEC/IPC, and AS9100 into designs, while ensuring compliance with test system requirements and verification methodologies.
  • Skilled in testing, analysis, and Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience with Xpedition Designer/Layout, MATLAB, PSpice, and Visio to support design and validation activities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, thriving in fast-paced, collaborative team environments.
  • General understanding of incorporating safety and human factors into design processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
