Duration: 10+ Months Contract

Hours of work:

Standard work hours are M-F 7:30-4:00, however, on-call and weekend work is expected for project work and electrical shutdowns when necessary

This position is in the Electrical & Controls Engineering Department within the Workplace Services Division (WPS) and is focused on delivering reliable electrical distribution to the customers of the WPS Division to enable research, development and engineering programs in support of the Innovation process. Become a leader in troubleshooting, process improvement, new equipment installation and documentation of electrical infrastructure and process equipment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BSEE or BSEET degree with a focus on electrical power and power distribution.
• Understands regulations applicable to the area of expertise and works to ensure compliance (NEC, NFPA, etc.) Incorporates safety and risk analysis into equipment designs
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
• Co-Op and/or intern experience dealing with electrical infrastructure equipment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use electrical test meters, PC's and/or schematics to troubleshoot electrical equipment/infrastructure.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Must have 2+ Years Experience as an Electrical Engineer
