Electrical Engineering Manager - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager Position with a client located in Pulaski, NY. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field to be considered for this position. You will manage projects from start to finish, introduce innovative technologies, and explore new ideas. You'll engage in diverse projects, from upgrading control systems to developing new components, offering a variety of challenges and opportunities for creativity.

Pay/Salary Range $110k-$190k.

Electrical Engineering Manager responsibilities include:

• Will be designing and advancing embedded control systems for heat transfer solutions, including boilers, heat pumps, and hybrid systems.
• Guide, mentor and work alongside a team of electrical engineers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.
• Bring fresh ideas to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in our boiler systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA testing, marketability, release to production, and rapid support for Fulton products.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring designs meet safety and regulatory standards for global markets while keeping a sharp focus on industry standards.
• Plan and organize project goals toward completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum Seven years related experience.
• Experience managing and developing a team with a proven track record of managing successful projects from concept to production.
• Proficiency in embedded system design tools, such as Eagle or KiCAD, for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience developing and debugging firmware in C/C++ or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of system testing and validation tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software debuggers.
• Knowledge of protocols: Modbus, Ethernet IP, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, Lonworks, RS232, RS485.
