ESTIMATOR - ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed proposals and make presentations
• Develop highly accurate cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment for electrical installations
• Use industry related software to create estimates and manage the project data
• Prepare very detailed and accurate construction estimates for commercial and residential projects
• Perform site visits to obtain information and evaluate the project requirements
• Maintain current knowledge of construction codes, industry trends, regulations and technology as it relates to electrical installations
• Negotiate contracts with clients and prospective clients to protect the interests of the Company
• Review and analyze blueprints and specifications
• Maintain and manage accurate

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in construction management or related field
• Proven track record of experience with construction estimating
• Must have strong ability to negotiate and communicate with others
• Must be knowledgeable in construction principles and estimating
• Familiarity with construction codes and the NEC
• Should be well versed in project management and construction estimating software
• Able to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment
• Willing to work on construction sites and in the office
