We have deep industry knowledge and experience to provide complete solutions.We are currently seeking an Electrical Foremanfor our operations in Abilene, Texas. Prefer Local candidates but will consider electricians who will work on a 2:1 rotation or M-F schedule. Can count on at least 50-60 hours per week. This is a fast-paced environment. Must be able to contend with the weather conditions.ForemanSupervise and coordinate activities of electriciansPlan and layout wiring diagrams, conduit systems, and electrical panel locationsMonitor the progress of projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budgetTroubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issuesTrain and mentor electricians in safety protocols and job skillsEnsure that all materials and equipment are available for projectsProvides supervision and coordinates activities for design and inspection of all construction projects.Primary duties include assisting with safety and environmental compliance, quality control, contractor performance, cost management, and other supervisory activities for field construction projectsImplements and administers company policies and procedures as delegated by management.Ensures plans and performance of various functions within the construction department Supervises daily activities of crews and or contractors and schedules inspection requirements for field construction projects.Assists in assembling required project documents such as specifications, drawings, other business documents related to field work.Coordinates and performs tasks involved with pre-project planning such as required construction documents and material procurement.Assembles and reviews construction documentation required for the permanent construction file.Communicates with construction crews and contractors regarding issues including safety performance, project scheduling, QA/QCPerforms typical responsibilities of a supervisor requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and coaching field employees, crews and contractors.Reviews work to ensure competency in meeting stated goals and objectives.Ensures projects are completed to quality, schedule, cost requirements, and specificationsEnsure the development of subordinate staff by maintaining competent levels of training.Performs other duties as required. Electrical Foreman Requirements and QualificationsTexas Journeyman LicenseHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in electrical installation and wiringProven experience in a lead or supervisory roleWorking knowledge of electrical codes and regulationsAble to interpret wiring diagrams and schematicsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordEmployment at GlobaLogix:GlobaLogix provides a drug free workplace, and the company will require you to participate in its drug testing program.
