PACO Group, Inc. (PACO) is looking for a seasoned Electrical Inspector to join our team on the Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Rehabilitation of Five (5) Circuit Breaker Houses (CBH) at Various Locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. 3-year duration contract. Scope of the Work The construction management (CCM) and inspection services for federally funded NYCT Capital Program projects and miscellaneous construction projects (the Authority). Responsibilities Conduct testing procedures per NYC Transit Authority guidelines. Evaluate and record tests and inspection results in an up-to-date testing log. Review, check, comment on, and make recommendations to NYC Transit Authority on the acceptability of the construction contractor's proposed subcontractors and material suppliers. Maintain manuals and systems until acceptance by NYC Transit Authority is achieved. Inspect in detail all the areas of the work that are completed by the construction contractors and become ready for beneficial use or substantial completion. Monitor product manufacturing quality including, but not limited to, structural steel, signal & communications, paint, and concrete cylinder tests. Maintain systematic, retrievable records of all testing, inspections, acceptances, and any outstanding punch lists. Document and properly file data required for Substantial Completion, Completion, and the Close-Out Phase as it becomes available during the Construction Contract. Prepare a comprehensive list of items that must be completed before the final Inspection by the NYC Transit Authority. Conduct Final Inspections together with NYC Transit Authority. Other such work as assigned where relevant to the Engineering Department. Requirements Bachelor's in electrical engineering and/or related field. Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in Inspection and testing services, preferably with NYCT capital projects. 600volt Circuit Breaker House experience required. Location- In person Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Pay rate $ 104,000 -$110,240 annually.
