Job Description :

Akkodis is currently seeking an electrical maintenance technician for a client in the Lexington, NC area. The ideal candidate will effectively contribute to troubleshooting, equipment repairs, process improvement, documentation, and training. This is a direct hire role with a Fortune 500 manufacturing client that has been recognized as a great place to work.

Pay Range: $90,000-$110,000

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modifications, service, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related systems.
  • Ensure electrical distribution systems are safe, meet power requirements, and comply with applicable codes.
  • Provide technical assistance in the purchase of new or replacement equipment and advise staff on capabilities, compatibility, installation, and operations.
  • Assist with the documentation of repairs and services by keeping accurate records of time and materials charged to each job.
  • Promote preventive maintenance as a strategy and contribute to environmental health and safety.

Qualifications

  • Two or four-year degree in related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of four years of progressive experience in similar roles.
  • Experience with automation technology (Siemens PLC preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of power, hydraulic, and mechanical concepts.
