The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical background in troubleshooting electrical equipment including PLC's, motor controls, temperature controls and other equipment up to 480 volts in a manufacturing environment.Hours: Work a core schedule of M-F 5:30am - 2:00pm, some OTDuties:Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical processes, systems, and controls to improve safety, quality and efficiencyAssist in answering line calls from production to troubleshoot electrical and extrusion problemsCreate electrical schematics and blueprints for new electrical installations and update existing blueprintsParticipate in project teams for new equipment installations and capital improvement, sourcing vendors, issuing purchase orders, etc.What do you bring?Hands on experience with industrial controls, engineering practices5 years of experience - hands on experience with HMIs, PLCs, motion controls, Rockwell (Control Logix, Factory Talk), ethernet/IP and Modbus communication networksSpecific Technologies: Familiar with Allen Bradley PLC, Auto-Cad, SAPElectrical Journeyman's CardUnderstanding of NEC and NFPA70EWho are we?Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
