Focus/Objective:
Assisting with the execution of assigned capital projects throughout the North American organization is the responsibility of the Electrical Project Engineer. In addition to finding project opportunities to increase reliability and analyzing budgets, timelines, scopes, and execution, the chosen applicant will largely be in charge of scope development and project execution.
Tasks and Accountabilities:
In order to accomplish desired goals, this individual contributor role will interact with all levels of the Manufacturing organization and operations. In addition to leading project teams, consultants, and contractors, the position will oversee electrical projects and carry out a variety of other engineering duties.
This role is an individual contributor and will interface with all levels of the Manufacturing organization and functions to achieve desired objectives. The role will manage electrical projects, will lead project teams, consultants, and contractors, and will execute various other engineering functions and tasks.
· Capital Project Execution/Construction Management 80%
· Capital Planning and Budget Development 10%
· Other Duties as assigned 10%
Operational
Minimum Required Experience:
· B.S. in Electrical Engineering (mechanical/chemical considered), or a combination of alternate technical degrees (i.e. Associate of Science, other technical degree) with 8-10 years of directly relevant experience.
· 5-8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing plants and 3-5 years of manufacturing experience supporting operations/engineering/maintenance/etc.
· Ability to travel 50%-75%
