Title: Electrical Project ManagerLocation: Poughkeepsie, NY areaSalary: $90k - $130k/year Base SalaryFounded in 1934, we have been serving the Hudson Valley area for 80+ years providing full electrical contracting services for our customers with residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.We are looking for a Electrical Project Manager with strong experience electrical project management that is experienced with residential, commercial, municipal, and/or industrial projects.What You Will Be Doing

• Plan and organize a project
• Prepare project estimates, scope, and present proposals to clients
• Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing
• Train and effectively supervise Project Engineers in the company philosophy and systems
• Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project
• Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and General Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budgets
• Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion
• Prepare monthly costing reports
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client

What You Need For This Position

• Bachelor's degree in construction, construction mangement, or related field; or related construction experience
• 5+ years with Electrical Project Management: Commercial, Industrial, and/or Municipal
• Knowledgeable with construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods
• Proven experience with team management: mentoring/training/equipping
• Proficient with computer/Microsoft Office/Bluebeam/Procore
