Staffworks Group is looking for a qualified Electrical Technician!Brief overview:We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician. The electronics technician's responsibilities include installing, commissioning, and testing manufactured electrical and electronic equipment. The Electronics Technician will be employed to use measuring and diagnostic tools, reading manuals and electrical schematics, assisting with training, recruitment, and electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.To be successful as an electronics technician, you should demonstrate strong mechanical skills and enjoy performing tasks with your hands. Outstanding electronics technicians can use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team. Hourly compensation: $22-$25/hour, based on experience and skills. This can be discussed during the interview process. **Must be able to commute daily to/from Toledo, OH**Responsibilities:
  • Installing, commissioning, and testing manufactured electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Working with the manufacturing team to discuss design shortfalls for an environment that harbors a continuous state of improvement.
  • Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.
  • Acting as a liaison with electrical contractors during an installation to ensure proper workmanship.
  • Update software and program PLCs as needed.
  • Promote and provide a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Degree or completed coursework in engineering or electronics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use electrical measuring and diagnostic equipment, such as a multimeter.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
  • Experience with working with high-voltage electricity.
  • Experience with working with PLCs and HMIs.
  • Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
  • Willingness to travel to infrastructure deployment sites.
