Electrician - 1st shift - IES Infrastructure : Job Details

General Job Description$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Purpose of Position:Freeman Enclosure Systems is hiring an experienced electrician. Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years electrical installation experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment. Experience integrating high voltage commercial graded electrical wiring and components is preferred.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Proficient reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Ability to bend and install conduit
• Experience with NEC (National Electric Code), understands wire size, conduit runs, and electrical load.
• Pulling wire, wire circuits, 4-way switches
• Works with 208 and 480 electrical panels
• Electrical integration experience with transformers
• Connecting and integrating 3 phase motors
• Ability to perform electrical tests for continuity
• Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)
• Required to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Ability to lift and maneuver components a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.

Education:

• Minimum of 3+ years of on-the-job experience in related field or industry
• Attended trade school and completed program (preferred but not required.)

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 lbs
• This position involves working in a manufacturing shop setting, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, requiring proper safety measures.
