Please do not share outside of the organization.Your RoleThis role will report to the facilities manager and will be a key team member of the facilities staff. The job will include all electrical-related tasks and projects as indicated below as well as other duties and responsibilities as required. The Master Electrician III assumes the role of a facilities maintenance electrician. You will act as the site master electrician and supervise all aspects of the electrical infrastructure. This includes completion and management of all plant-generated work orders and Preventive Maintenance. This position will also lead local onsite electrical contractors, and any other needs as indicated by management.
  • Generate purchase requisitions.
  • Monitor & maintain stock of electrical inventory.
  • Complete all Preventative Maintenance work orders on time.
  • Complete Project work orders in a timely manner.
  • Ability to make decisions, follow through and implement with little or no direction from manager.
  • Bring in outside contractors as needed and direct their work to meet Millipore Sigma's standards of safety and work quality.
  • Work in Facilities as a team member and contribute to the common goals of the group.
  • All other tasks as assigned by management.
This is an A Shift position 7:00 AM- 3:30 pmWho you areMinimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensed Master Electrician.
  • 5+ years' experience working as an Electrician.
Preferred Qualifications• Read and interpret industrial & commercial blueprints and control schematics.• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems and data systems.• Excellent organizational and project skills.• Strong interpersonal skills/ ability to communicate effectively and able to work within a team.• Technical Skills.• Knowledge of all electrical related infrastructure systems.• Knowledge of telephone and computer systems.• Run data cables and to make terminations.The Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
