Job DescriptionElectrician - Hutchinson, KSThis is a full-time, hourly position.Job Summary:Under general supervision builds, maintains, repairs and installs electrical equipment across a wide range of plant operations.Essential Job Functions:* Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvement* Maintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions* Performs preventive and predictive maintenance duties on plant equipment* Diagnoses electrical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as required* Installs new equipment and performs preventative maintenance duties as necessary* Possess general computer use knowledge* Maintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs, also maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future reference* Documents work order time, work performed and parts used by completing time records through use of the Maintenance Management System* Conducts regular inspections of tools, safety and production equipment* Develops and maintains knowledge of hand and power tools used in the repair and maintenance of plant equipment* Good regular and prompt attendance record* May perform reasonably similar or related duties as required.* Assists in keeping the department in tour ready condition.* Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of Industrial or commercial electrical experience and/or two (2) year degree.* Must successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirements* Basic knowledge of process equipmentExperience:* Good regular and prompt attendance history* Excellent safety record and awareness* Previous plant/process experience* Experience in any of the following areas is a preferred:* Automation/PLC* Low/Medium Voltage* Mechanical* 480V 3PH wiring, diagnostics, and repair* Millwright* Preventative and Predictive Maintenance* Mobile Equipment (forklift or manlift)* RiggingSpecial Skills:* Good organizational and communication skills, and must be self-motivated* Ability to work well with others and with little supervision - (Required)* Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilities* Housekeeping and sanitation skills* Willingness to work overtime when necessary* Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skillsWorking Conditions:* Working shifts are 4 days a week for 10 hours* May be called in to work unusual or extended schedules due to equipment breakdowns or similar circumstances* Working with numerous types of machines and processes* Indoor and outdoor* Climbing stairs frequently* LiftingADM requires the successful completion of a background check.REF:95373BR
