Position Type: Maintenance/Operations/Electrician Date Posted: 8/9/2024 Location: Darlington County Schools Description: Electrician 260-day position Salary: $41,038 base salary (based on verified experience) Location: District Available: Immediately Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or high school equivalent
  • Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License
  • Demonstrate knowledge in reading blueprints
  • Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as an electrician
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in electrical work
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: At-will Employee Responsible To: Director of Operations Job Duties:
  • Install and provide general maintenance of all electrical needs
  • Work from specifications and blueprints
  • Assign and supervise helpers, apprentices or other semi-skilled workers
  • Plan work schedules
  • Place orders for necessary materials, supplies and equipment to perform work
  • Provide technical advice to supervisory personnel
  • Possess knowledge of materials, supplies and equipment related to this field
  • Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned
