POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES The Electrician will work as a part of the Upstream field operation team. The qualified individual will provide field level electrical support in the design, installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all oil and gas facility process equipment. Special focus to be placed on: Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems, including motors, transformers, control panels, and lighting in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Perform regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to carry out installations and repairs accurately. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into operations. Ensure compliance with industry codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, API), company standards, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed. Respond to emergency situations promptly, minimizing risks to personnel and equipment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be a certified electrician with 10+ years of experience preferred. Oil and gas industry experience preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with company management, engineering, and operations staff. Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules and focus attention on details. Able to multi-task and prioritize work to achieve critical timelines. Ability to work safely in challenging environments, including, and not limited to high temperature, noise, dust, and other industrial / oilfield locations. Physical requirements include but may not be limited to: Walk up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds. Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and insurer. Available for emergency and on-call support.
