Description
Pay: $40 per hour ST, $60 per hour OT ($2,800 per Week)
Per Diem:$35 - $70 per day ($210 - $420 per week)
Schedule: - 4 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF
- 60 hours per week (opportunity for more)
- 36 weeks ON and 17 weeks OFF (22% MORE TIME OFF!)

Work Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Scope of Work: Currently we are constructing a greenfield central facility compressor station located in Texas. This site will house 10 compressors to include all supporting infrastructure. One of the primary challenges during this project is the excessive heat expected during the summer months, particularly from June through August. Heat mitigation strategies, such as adjusted work schedules, and regular hydration breaks, will be prioritized to ensure the health and safety of all personnel.

Licensing Information and Requirements: - New Mexico Electrical License OR
- License from recognized reciprocal state, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Oklahoma, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Texas

Essential Job Functions: - Reads blueprints, drawings and wiring diagrams
- Converts production drawings to tasks and works with crew to complete
- Pull and terminate power and instrumentation cables
- Installs and repair of equipment, wiring or control devices
- Performs preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, generators, etc.
- Performs maintenance on electrical distribution systems
- Maintains, identifies and clearly marks all electrical panels as to functions of controls
- Trains and mentor's Apprentice Electricians to ensure quality work and facilitate learning
- Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with NEC and NFPA requirement as well as local, city, state, and national electrical codes, and all Company and Client standards.

Required Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- One (1) year electrical experience; industrial industry preferred
- Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record required depending on location
- Current OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or be able to obtain upon hire

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: - Knowledge and experience with power tools, electrical equipment and construction equipment
- Knowledge of electrical codes
- Knowledge of proper electrical equipment use conducive to conditions and assignments including adherence to Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, operational and mechanical systems including installation, test, maintenance and repair
- Understanding of how electrical system operates under normal and emergency conditions
- Understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in repair of electrical equipment, wiring, and other fixtures.
- Strong mechanical, analytical and solution driven skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)
- Basic math skills
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Ability to diagnose system malfunctions, locate cause of breakdown and recommend solution
- Ability to recognize and respond to dangerous situations or emergencies such as high voltage systems, electrical fires, loose hot wires, broken power lines, etc.
- Ability to give direction and oversight to helpers and apprentices
