Job Description:

Position Overview:

Responsible for maintaining and repair of all electrical systems through the plant. 2nd Shift Position with working hours of 3:00pm-11:00pm with specified schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as good verbal communications skills

* Experienced w/ voltage up to 480 three phase

* Able to work with minimal supervision.

* Performed installation of conduit

* Observed mechanical devices in operation to diagnose problems in the systems.

* Knowledge of Industrial wiring and controls

* Experience in repairing factory equipment

* Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

* Basic experience in troubleshooting PLC's

* Solid mechanical abilities/aptitude

* Willing to work overtime and am flexible

* Able to keep a clean and orderly work area

Pay Rate:

Starting rate is $36.13/hour. After 6 months, $36.63/hour. Shift Differential is $0.50/hour.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

Education:

High school degree (or equivalent) and the completion of a four-year apprenticeship training program

Experience:

* Experienced in using computer based Preventative Maintenance and Spare Parts stores systems.

* Able to perform mathematics to determine proper components and installation requirements.

* Installed, adjusted, modified, verified, calibrated and tested operation of power systems, specialized electrical systems and panels, circuitry, electrical chassis, appliances, portable electrical equipment in accordance with all State and Federal Electrical Codes and Ordinances.

* Able to work from verbal instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical publications and instructions bulletins.
