This full-time role specifically will work on developing a bioinspired sensor for continuous monitoring of key contaminants in water.

About the role:

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated scientist, Electrochemist/ Biosensor Engineer. The role involves designing, fabricating, and optimizing electrochemical sensors. In this role, you will collaborate with a highly competent group of colleagues with AI, electrochemistry, bioengineering, and nanofabrication expertise to develop a sensor for continuous water monitoring.

The successful applicant has deep and demonstrated expertise in developing electrochemical sensors.

Qualifications Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
• Relevant post-doctoral experience in academia or industry is not required but is a plus.
• Experience in designing, fabricating, and characterizing electrochemical sensors
• Optimize sensor performance by exploring new materials and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with nano-fabrication is not required, but is a plus
• Contribute to the integration of fabricated sensors into microfluidic embedding
• Devices and full integration into sensor packaging
• Data analysis and interpretation skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
