**Electronic Assembler**

**Moog Space and Defense Group** is the premier motion and flow control solutions provider for the following markets: satellites, human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, military ground vehicles, naval vessels, and security and surveillance. Emerging areas of focus include metal additive manufacturing, blockchain for supply chain, sensor integration, and propulsion test facilities.

**Moog is looking for an Electronic Assembler to work at the Johnson City facility,**

**located at 192 Bob Fitz Rd, Johnson City, TN.**

**This will be a full-time position,40 hours per week*

**Job Summary**

* Work from complex drawings.

* Perform inspection and test procedures.

* Verify previous operation and own work completed per engineering drawings, planning and other work instructions

* Troubleshoot hardware problems to determine cause and recommend disposition options.

* Demonstrate knowledge of documentation procedures related to manufacturing and quality of hardware.

* Accessing electronic documentation and checking revisions.

* Maintain Receiving records/documentation and job files as required.

* Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities

* Assist in training / cross-training of others.

* Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

* Follow written directions and have excellent attendance

* Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes

* Work with minimal supervision.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* This job requires access to US export-controlled information

**Required Qualifications**

* A High School diploma or equivalent GED.

* 3 years minimum experience as a production operator or equivalent

* Quality conscious and have a mechanical aptitude with good dexterity

* As a government contractor, vaccination against Covid-19, or an approved religious/medical exemption, is a condition of employment for all U.S. employees.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* To be self-motivated and able to multitask

* Solder Certification

* Ability to demonstrate experience in reading blueprints is a plus
