Electronic Assembler - AvtechTyee : Job Details

We are always searching for Electronic Assemblers *with progressive assembly and soldering skills for advanced/complex components or subassemblies. Along with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Aerospace experience is a plus! Working on site at the facility is required. * Your primary responsibilities will be:Use work instructions, schematics, blueprints, wiring lists, parts lists, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, build, modify or reassemble advanced/complex small parts assemblies and mechanical subassemblies requiring extreme precisionAdvanced soldering skills for complex tasks including but not limited to soldering wire harnesses. J standard experience a plus!Accurately perform final inspectionEfficiently perform inventory management and cycle counts, resolving any problems that ariseProficient at all tasks for entire assembly team product lineActively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings (improve time, reduce waste, etc.)Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practicesResponsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required2+ years of complex assembly experience, preferably in aerospace, requiredDemonstrated proficiency with advanced soldering of small parts/componentsThis experience is a plus!Use of hand tools and experience with assembling from schematicsStrong software competence and proficient in use Office SuiteStrong focus and attention to detailAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to work independently with limited supervisionEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong focus on customer serviceAbility to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills*Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization * The target hourly/salary range for this role is $20/hr. - $26/hr., depending on experience.
