Functional ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on electrical and/or mechanical systems and/or equipment.Notes:
  • This is not a telework position
  • This position is located at a US Navy facility
  • This position is part of a team that maintains the AEGIS Weapon System
  • You must hold a valid driver's license
  • You must own a reliable motor vehicle
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • A two (2) year AS or AAS degree or a trade/vocational school certification in electronics, electrical or mechanical discipline may be substituted for demonstrated experience.
  • High School/GED diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of US Military Maintenance Technician experience.
Labor Classification:
  • This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position
  • Depending on years of experience the Wage Determination level could be 23181 (Junior), 23182 (Mid), 23183 (Senior)
Required Skills and Certifications: • DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter • As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance Other required skills/experience:
  • Your resume/cv accepted by our customer
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality services
