Electronic Technician - NESCO Resource : Job Details

Our client offers an awesome work environment with high morale, excellent leadership and great benefits perks! They are looking for a skilled Electronics Technician to modify, repair and improve existing electronic products, equipment and controls.

The Electronic Technician will test and troubleshoot new electronic products, record and maintain data packages for each product, and properly diagnose, document, and test field units to return back to service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electronics as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
• Record data that is required for each product with high level of accuracy.
• Properly documenting defects for new products and filling out RMA teardown reports for field returns.
• Performing Environmental Stress Screening with Vibration and Thermal Chambers.
• Scanning and filling out travelers for each job performed with high level of accuracy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

• Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Ability to follow highly complex directions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification or licensure required.

$23.00-$29.00/hr (depending on experience)
