Job Description :

Our client, a global commercial & consumer product manufacturing firm, is seeking a Product Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with environmental, mechanical, electrical and electro/mechanical test procedures. It is important for qualified candidates to have experience working in a high voltage lab environment with an understanding of wiring, cabling and product certification testing. Nice to have skills include fine soldering skills and comfort working with PCBA's and subassemblies. This is not a hybrid role, and primary consideration will be given to candidates from the South Portland, ME area.Job Title: Product Test TechnicianLocation: South Portland, MEPay: $30-$37/hr. plus potential OT, benefitsKey Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret and document electrical, environmental, and other measurements and test results.
  • Assemble, build and test power electronic products and prepare for shipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex power electronics systems and circuit boards
  • Fabricate and assemble prototype products, assemblies and components per assembly drawings, schematics and fabrication drawings
Requirements
  • Familiarity with high voltage / high power electronics laboratory environment
  • Ability to operate electronic test instruments such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems
  • Interpret and implement one-line-drawings and electrical schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power and hand tools
  • Experience with machine shop tools and equipment and 3-D printing
