We are seeking a skilled Contract Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology products. You will be part of a collaborative team, working on the assembly and testing of our high-tech products. This is a contract position that offers a competitive compensation package.Responsibilities:As a Contract Electro-Mechanical Assembler, your responsibilities will include:1. Assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical components and assemblies.2. Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.3. Soldering and desoldering electronic components using J-STD-001 standards.4. Performing surface mount technology (SMT) assembly.5. Handling and assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs).6. Fabricating and modifying cables, wires, and circuits.7. Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues.8. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.9. Ensuring all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:1. 2+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler or in a similar role.2. Proficiency in soldering and desoldering electronic components, specifically with Electronic Component Soldering (SMT).3. Experience in handling and assembling PCBs.4. Strong knowledge of cables, wires, and circuits.5. Familiarity with J-STD-001 standards and certification is a must.6. Proven experience in electronic assembly and electro-mechanical assembly.7. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.8. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.10. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
