Nesco Resource is looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer for our client on the Westside of Rochester. If you come with experience developing, implementing & improving manufacturing processes for electronic components & systems and have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer or related field apply today!Starting Salary: $80,000-$100,000/yrSchedule: M-F 8am-5pmThis is a Direct Hire Opportunity!Position Summary:This role involves close collaboration with design, quality & production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality & cost-effective manufacturing. The engineer will also address technical challenges, optimize production workflows & ensure compliance with industry standards & safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & refine MFG processes for electronic components, circuits, and systems.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Design and configure equipment and tooling to support production needs.
  • Provide technical support to the production team for troubleshooting/resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to implement quality standards and testing protocols.
  • Analyze production data to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage engineering projects from concept through production, including timeline and resource management.
  • Coordinate w/cross-functional teams-ensure project milestones/deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to management.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments/implement safety measures to protect employees/equip.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Train production staff on new processes and technologies to ensue proper implementation and operation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar field.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design, surface mount technology (SMT), and assembly processes.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong project management and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001) and safety regulations.
