Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities. Help meet physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Qualifications: Education/Certification

• Associate's degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate or ability to obtain

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
• Ability to work with children with disabilities
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively

Current assignment for this postion if for Special Education/Inclusion AideExperience

• Some experience working with children preferred

Days This is a ten (10) month, full time position Salary This is a (10) month position. Salary is based on the district salary schedule and will be based on experience. All applicable state and local benefits apply. Positions Available: 1 FLSA Status: Non-exempt
