Bachelor's Degree in education or related field.

Willing to learn, acquire and apply new skills and knowledge.

Strong organizational skills

Strong skills in interpersonal relations with colleagues, administrators, and parents

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Strong problem-solving skills

Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education.

Must obtain or hold a valid IL Substitute Teacher License if a valid Professional Educator License is not currently held.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Professional Educator License teaching certificate with ESL or Bilingual Endorsement
