POSITION SUMMARY:The E-Commerce Email Creator is responsible for the creation and execution of Menards email programs and notifications – including creation of campaign emails, transactional emails, push notifications, SMS and text, web notifications, and immerging functions.
Email and notification content on our platforms
Use of data from analytics to create meaningful and effective email and notifications that inform and increase profitability
Development of media to be used in emails
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creation of Menards promotional emails, focused on simple and clear design according to strategy to increase interaction and profitability
Execution of the E-Commerce email schedule steered to efficiency
Development of targeted emails throughout platform based on available data sources
Creation of excellent email designs tested and focused on increasing profitability
Multivariate testing, reporting, and development from learning of the emails created, under direction of Lead Email Creator
Understand brand and retail strategies
Other tasks as assigned by the E-Commerce General Manager or Lead Email Creator
Skills/Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Management is required OR equivalent work experience.
Ability to prioritize tasks, take direction, and execute with efficiency and keen organizational skills
Ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines is essential
Strong attention to detail and must be organized
· Experience with PC required. MAC experience is a plus.
Understanding of best practices related to search engine optimization
Experience with Adobe Suite, InDesign and Photoshop required, Illustrator and Dreamweaver is preferred
Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Analytical problem-solving skills
Marketing experience is a plus
· Must have strong work ethic and be able to take direction, be open-minded to change and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
