Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Event Marketing Specialist to lead the marketing efforts for our upcoming in-person activation/event. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving awareness, excitement, and participation leading up to the event, ensuring a high turnout of engaged attendees and successfully booking participants for the event.Key Responsibilities:
- Event Awareness & Promotion:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to build excitement and awareness around the event, using both online and offline tactics.
- Leverage digital channels (social media, email marketing, event platforms) to create buzz and engage target audiences.
- Craft compelling messaging and visuals that reflect the event's excitement, exclusivity, and entertainment value.
- Coordinate pre-event promotional campaigns, including countdowns, teaser content, influencer partnerships (host), and media buys.
- Participant Recruitment:
- Drive sign-ups and bookings for Game Show participation by engaging key target groups.
- Manage registration processes and participant follow-ups to ensure a seamless experience from sign-up to attendance.
- Implement creative recruitment strategies to reach diverse audiences and incentivize participation (e.g., referral programs, contests, VIP access).
- Partnership & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with ADWNY to co-promote the event.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets and partners to secure event coverage, interviews, and promotional opportunities.
- Event Communication & Branding:
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all promotional materials and communication.
- Write and design promotional content including social media posts, email newsletters, and banners.
- Maintain a strong online presence for the event through timely and engaging updates across social platforms.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor marketing performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize outreach and participation.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine marketing efforts for better results.
- Report on campaign performance, engagement rates, and booking conversion rates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event marketing, especially for in-person events with a focus on engagement and attendance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with influencers, media outlets, and community partnerships to amplify event reach.
- Ability to work independently, creatively, and under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing experiential events or game-based activations.
