About the Role:

As an Embroidery Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will report to the Production Manager and work closely with other team members to ensure that all production goals are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products
  • Maintain and troubleshoot embroidery machines as needed
  • Ensure that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

In this role, you will use your embroidery machine operation skills to produce high-quality embroidered products. You will also use your attention to detail to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Your ability to troubleshoot and maintain embroidery machines will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, your communication and collaboration skills will be important as you work closely with the production team to meet production goals. Finally, your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating embroidery machines
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of embroidery machine operation experience
  • Experience with Barudan and Tajima embroidery machines
  • Experience with digitizing software
  • Experience with thread color changes and thread tension adjustments
  • Experience with quality control processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Supervisor Responsibilities: None

Work environment:

  • Warehouse environment – exposure to changes in temperature
  • Subject to noise – when working near machinery and/or vehicles
  • Subject to hazards – including proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged standing on concrete floors
  • Visual acuity (20/40 – correctable by glasses/contacts)
  • Repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift to 35 lbs. with assistance
