Embroidery Technician (part time) - Express Employment : Job Details

Located in Medford, OR Salary: 17.00-18.00Our client is a family-owned embroidery shop dedicated to providing high-quality custom embroidery services for their clients. The established team values attention to detail, creativity, and a strong work ethic in a friendly, collaborative environment.Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Technician on a part-time basis. This role involves operating embroidery machines, preparing designs for production, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The position offers the potential for growth and additional hours based on performance and business needs.Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain commercial embroidery machines (Barudan, Tajima and SWF), including threading, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
• Interpret customer orders and artwork to set up designs using embroidery software.
• Load materials (garments, hats, bags, etc.) onto embroidery machines and ensure proper placement.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
• Organize and manage production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed to clarify design details or timelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with embroidery machines is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with embroidery design software are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, with flexible hours. Typical shifts are during weekday business hours.
• 20-25 hours per week
